Back to business
I won't bore you with the details. (It'd be too much for you to remember anyway, as Blogger likes to remind everyone.) I will hit some of the highlights, however.
First, my power is amazing! Of course, I've always been more than you will ever be, but to me it's like I've been reborn. I've had no real time to see what I'm able to do, really. I do know that Blogger will have a much tougher time with me in the future. We tussled a bit, as you may remember. She's still a measure stronger, but I think I'm a better fighter. (Don't tell her that, though.) I think our next confrontation will have a much different outcome.
However, at the moment, her help is needed. At first I thought I was facing weaponery beyond my ability to take. The smaller ships had nothing to offer, but the mothership packed enough heat for four or five of me. Not sure how it would hit me now, but being that I had to heal a bit before I could even move last time... I'm not taking chances. I just hope She can take it a bit better than I can.
We visited Blogger's "friend", and I use the term very loosely, at the university to see what we were dealing with. Despite Blogger being unreasonably pushy, I was surprised that he came up with any results, though they were few. I watched Blogger pinch the alien metal in her fingers so easily. There still something so cute about her. She's so fascinated with herself. She almost looks like a little girl when She smiles satisfied each display of Her power. While She spoke with the scientist I snuck over to try and pinch the metal myself. I grimaced a bit, but was able to do it. She looked over her shoulder and I took my hand away not wanting her to see me trying. She looked down at the second, smaller dent. I smiled sheepishly. She smiled smugly, and knowingly. Bitch. Super cute bitch. I slapped her ass as I walked by. The doctor covered his ears moaning. Blogger giggled and continued talking.
We encountered the girl from the farmhouse. The beam had done the same to her as it did to me. Obvious from her strength, she was hit a lot longer. I would have htried to stop her, but I was playing cleanup instead. It sure would have been a lot easier if Blogger would have helped! Her description of how pissed I was doesn't quite cover it. She just stood there! I'm not sure what got her moving, but she finally decided to take some sort of action. Not what I would have done, but effective anyway. Well somewhat effective. Amazingly, she got up!
She was not all there. She was an automoton. Without emotion she was off to her original site. The one she wanted cleared. Once again I was amazed at Blogger's speed. I could just about make her out, but still too fast for a clear picture, as she moved to get in front of the superzombie. What happened next was nothing short of devastating. Even I felt it.
After what I saw, I sure hope the aliens aren't dumb enough to use that beam on Blogger.
